I'm a glass and metal artist, currently in Marlton, NJ. I work in stained glass, fused glass, copper, and enamel. What I'm into right now is working with copper clay. Powdered copper is mixed with an organic binder and water. It handles like clay and can be rolled out, textured, and cut with simple tools. Once dry, it's fired in a kiln to burn off the binder and sinter the particles of copper together into a solid piece. The finished pieces can be left as they are, silver plated, or enameled. While I'm working primarily in copper, I can also make pieces in bronze, fine silver, and sterling silver.
